कदम तो बढ़ाए थे उसकी बिगड़ी चोटी संवारने
पर एक ठोकर से पैर लड़खड़ा गए
जिस आशा से उसने कभी बाप का हाथ संभाला था
आज उसी सहारे से मेरे लड़खड़ाते पैर भी सँभाल लिए
और वो रेशम की लड़ी खुद-ब-खुद सँवर गई !!

माँ ने हँस कर कहा "बेटी बड़ी हो गई "
