To and fro,
Run the hands of the clock,
Trapped in meeting the deadlines,
Together they flock,

They let go their hunger,
Sleep and friends too,
What's going on in the world,
They have no clue,

Working day and night,
Just to reach the goal,
But they forget to rest,
Required by their soul,

Work hard, keep trying
But prioritize yourself too,
Because once you go off the track,
Life starts losing its true hue.

Awaiting the weekend
To relax for a while,
But as the Sunday approaches,
Every hour appears like a mile.

While some play songs on speakers,
Some travel across the waters,
Rest are just contentment seekers!

Aim for the sky,
Because that's where you lie,
You may be in the dark now,
But that shouldn't be the reason to sigh,

That spark of light isn't too far,
Just you need to learn from the scar,
Keep growing & evolve for the better,
No one can keep your rewards later.
