The sound of the droplets which creates endless ripples,
The petrichor after the rain which soothes the soul,
The mellifluous laugh of an infant,
The contentment after helping somebody,
When that stray dog dangles its tail by seeing me,
And when I inhale the breeze which
satisfies my soul, for being human.
An ethical, glorified human.

Sleepless nights
the dilemma of the wrongs and the rights
when you keep flipping left and right waiting for that sleepy yawn
peeping through the window you realise it's the first ray of dawn
when you try to shut that beast in your head
those nights when you couldn't sleep in the coziest bed

hang in there!
it's life baby things aren't supposed to be fair and square
for what I know, all this pain
is something you feel to appreciate what you are about to gain

No darling, not the comfort of a naked body laying on the softest bed but when your soul is undressed and you...
let the cold breeze touch your every thought
let the rain pour on every scar
let that dazzling ray of sun touch your cold heart
let your soul hear the melodies
let your every trauma heal to the core

Be emotionally naked and unfiltered to heal from the things you confided in yourself all this while
Trust me it's all gonna be worthwhile

But baby, the one who can undress your soul wouldn't come effortlessly
Till then don't you give your precious love selflessly
Don't ever let yourself perplex between the bodily desire

Now all you have is the sound of their laughter fading day by day,
You can't, but you have see them go away.
The time you wiped each other's tears,
the promises and the secrets you shared for years.
Breaks you when you realise you're not gonna be the bridesmaid/best man at their wedding,
The feeling is truly dreading.
It's the ship we hop on in just a few blinks,
A part of you dies when this friend-ship sinks.

There's always a side you'd never reveal,
So vulnerable that your subconscious wouldn't let you unveil.

Even when you fight it so hard,
Every word comes out wobbly, blocked by your heart.

Helpless, wanting to express the repressed
Searching the perfect words in that human brain,
Words seem non existent, you're helpless again.

So you just clench your fists and groan so hard,
Hear the tiny bits of you fall apart.

Shut your eyes till they become waterless,
Pretend, your emotions are not a bunch of mess.

Stop thriving,
Some things are not worth describing.

The heart sways, happiness outweighs
The scars are beauty marks now,
Everyone exclaims, wow!
Yet there is a fear, of the saying -

Everything is temporary,
Even the happiness :):

All the tiny little pieces tucked together,
This little guy has become as fragile as a feather.

It gives the power to love unconditionally,
To forgive and forget countlessly.

Seeks the courage to return the love it lent,
Perhaps it's too broken to mend.

All we could think about was becoming adults and wanted to write with a pen.

By the time we passed our juvenescence,
We realised we lost the most beautiful essence.
