The storm had passed, and I started on my way home. As I neared, I heard a few birds chirping loudly, flying helter skelter!
I thought the storm must have made them so. And then I saw it.
The beautiful gulmohar tree that once adorned our gateway had fallen off, probably cos of the heavy winds.
A searing pain ripped through my heart!This tree was home to so many birds, insects, and squirrels. The sight always comforted me when I used to look through my window. Today I lost my friend.
If it could speak it could have shared all the things it saw in its lifetime.
I bent down and hugged its broken branches and bade it a tearful goodbye.

It was a fine Sunday morning. She sat down to drink coffee when she got the package.
There was no sender's details! She wondered what it could be..will that be a bomb?
As she shook the package it sounded like a lot of things were packed in together.
After sipping coffee for a while, she contemplated opening it. She regretted it the moment she opened.
Sitting inside were gifts that she had bought and a letter written in haste.
' I couldn't throw them, I cannot keep them, as it reminds me of you. Wish you a good life! X'
She picked up the wind chime and put it on her window, and went back to sipping her coffee amidst the tinkling of the chimes.

Berry was saying Banana has the same characteristics and he is leaner as well and I am round and plump. I mean whatttt.... you cannot body sham me!! Your King!!

Fell out of a book,
Wrinkled and faded
Had to give it a closer look.

It had me in a garden,
Young but shabby,
And i couldn't recollect a time,
That I was this happy!

I realised then,
I had dreams in my eyes,
But now they are shattered,
With backstabbers and lies.

In the chaos,
Of the recess..
They sit next to each other,
Sharing food, laughter and glances,
Hidden from others..
Tingling waves run through
When their hands touch.
The warm light falls,
On their gentle faces,
And happiness fills the room,
With light and tenderness
Of a mellow summer love 💕💕

Two sides of a coin!

You cannot have both at once,
You need to give up one, every time.

But the fact remains,
The moment you hold onto one side,
For a longer time....

Life flips it!

About my muscles again,
Which writhe in pain.
The bones in my back,
Just ache and crack!
The knuckles in my hand,
Go numb as Iceland.
And it dawns upon me,
That age grows in me.

Funny thing though,
I thought you should know,
The pain I felt with the heartbreak last fall,
In light of things, wasn't this bad at all!

When people ask "how are you?"
Always say "fine" even though you are happy, excited, struggling, in pain, angry, exhausted!

Because people actually do not care, and if you happen to be too happy or too sad they will only end up judging you!!
