While few lived through your vocals,
While some felt the pain in your eyes..

Been a part of their lone sleepless nights,
You left too soon, the void is still intact,

बात कहीं बढ़ ना जाए... ये सोचकर।।

You might not get back, with the same heart & mind!!

चले तो साथ थे, पर मंज़िलों ने रास्ते बदल दिये,
कभी एक ही थाली में खाते थे, अब शहर तक बदल गए,
हमने तो किया था सौदा बस 9 से 5 का,
पर मशरूफ़ इतने हुए उलझनों में,
की दोस्तों का हाल लेना भूल गए।

Words that echoed for long in my head,
"I can't do" they told me... out loud,
Showed care on my face and ditched on my back,
Against all the odds, for all those who faked,
I hope these words reach you tonight,

कुछ कही कुछ अनकही बातें हैं,
कुछ गाने भी है जो हमने साथ सुने,
कुछ सवाल भी है जिनके जवाब नही मिले,
कुछ दोस्त भी हैं, कमीने वाले,
कुछ ठिकाने हैं, हमारे मिलने वाले,
यही कहानी है, मैं हुँ और तु है।।
