I want to kiss your scars, your stretch marks and all the parts that you consider to be imperfect.
I want to kiss and embrace your insecurities and let you know how deadly gorgeous you are.
I want to love that part of yours which you think is unlovable and show you what real love feels like.
I want to hug your soul and acknowledge all the stories your heart has been through all this while.
I want to give you all of what you deserve and always deserved.
I want to sing you to sleep while I play with your hair.
All I want is to let you know how special and loved you are to me!

To my little girl,
Your momma is just 21 and single right now but you see, she loves you so much. She loves you from the time, you weren’t even there in her life. I’m writing this letter today because I don’t want to ruin being your mother. I don’t want to be selfish when you are growing up. I don’t want to pressurise you with all the things you need to learn as a girl.

So now that you’ve disappeared and we don’t talk anymore.

I can see you are going out with other people and all I can do is think, think of the circumstances that made us apart, of the friendship that we once had. Was our bond so weak to break even without a fight?! And what about the times, you told me you would never ghost on me? Was it all fake or are you really so busy to not give a damn about me anymore?

I wonder about this new friend of yours with whom you are going out, do you talk to her like you once did to me? Do you ask her about her day and tell her you’ll never ghost on her? Do you share those untold stories with her which you once shared with me? Do you laugh at her lame jokes and love her small gestures? Does she know your favourite food and favourite flavour of cake? Does she think of sending you cakes on the days you are down? Does she recognises your mood just by having a conversation?

I wonder, what was it that we had? Was it so replaceable and weak?

You never value your capabilities until you get praised and appreciated for it from someone else.
And for that to happen, you need to put up your work in front of the people. Stop thinking about the outcomes and consequences in advance. Let that self doubt get away because other people are trying harder to get where you already are, and what you are doing may not be everyone's cup of tea!

We always hold our selves back because of the fear of humiliation and we start underestimating our own self.
Give yourself a try, you never know you might get appreciated for it and that is surely gonna make you more confident about yourself!

A letter to my self!

...You have to take care of people around you in a particular place and ensure you meet all of their expectations... And while handling all of this you forget to take care of YOURSELF....

That night!
That night, is when maturity and feelings hit me harder
and everything in me changed suddenly.
Magic happened fearlessly.
That night we lived carelessly.
Those three magical words you said,
we handled those personally.
That night is the one,
to remember certainly.
Heart beats went fast and,
we wouldn't have held onto each other more tightly.
I wish I could go back to that time.
For that time is still screaming into the universe,
I LOVE YOU WHOLE HEARTEDLY!!

I wandered along the coast,
capturing the sunset at the most.
The deep strokes of the brush,
dipped in orange yellow hues of gush
and purple blue romancing their lush,
with a dash of red making the sky blush.
The quiddity of the evening,
the duality of the lightness darkening
make my fickle moods calming.
I wonder how this ball of destruction,
millions of miles away,
keeps the melancholy stray
creating such beautiful sensations.
Oh, how this beauty holds devastation!

my baba(granddad) is not amongst us.
What do you think can be more painful than just thinking about how he pampered me, stopped my mum from scolding me, gave me pep talks to be a doctor?
Nothing in this life was as shattering as seeing him come home as a still body with no movements or conscience. He promised to come on a walk with me after 4 days and it was just the next day after he said that.
Am I such a bad granddaughter Baba?
Why did you leave me alone in this messy world full of mean people?
We all have realized our mistakes and we love you Baba. Please come back to life one last time.
