I don't think you are stupid for loving them, you are brave.
Even though seeing all the red flags you loved them.
You tried to love someone broken anyway.
You tried to heal someone wounded anyway.
You showed up for them every single time they needed.
It's doesn't make you stupid
It means you have a big heart.
It means that you love harder than most people
That means that when you invest yourself in someone
You go 100%.
And just because you gave it to the wrong person it doesn't make it stupid.
If just shows how you much you are able to love someone even if they hurt you
Hurt you deep and bad inside
You're able to love someone and see past beyond the pain they have given you.
This shows how much you are filled with love compassion and empathy.
