Just... Giving birth and caring for the family!
Well!, not just to produce or protect her family.
It takes alot more than all of this, a way beyond
Just the normalcy WE have organised in society.
Well it's some discouragements rendered
From her own one's, families n friends,
When she speaks her heart out and truth.
Fencing her with the glass ceiling made up
of culture, tradition and norms of society,
When she wants to rise above and fly.
Judging her for every attire, look and shape
Shaming her for being her own self, that
She wears with grace, confidence n' honor.
Yaah! She takes it all, consumes every sip,
All the gossip, the comments and every gum.
She chews them all n builds a home of her own.
She is the one finding the other
in the world filled with Otherness!

When ur surroundings are filled with hues and cries!

Gloomy days are ending now
Knowingly and unknowingly in awe!
The days we cherished in bright
Are about to turn to mode of silent!
The round conferences then n now
Will be missed in abundance somehow!
A day out now and then with blush
Will turn into a dust of moments of hush!
With droplets and a sluggy curve
We pass consoling one to move a mile!
Wondering the scary and bloomy days ahead
We nurture warming our hearts, in dread!
Having doubts, will we meet again?
Happen to carry the burden yet again!
Bundles of joy and a heap of sorrow
We carry it life long towards the morrow!

Submerged in essence of an aroma,
Bounded by a beautiful song around,
With a glass of whiskey in hand,
What else is needed, what else to be flavoured,
To cherish and revive a good soul in all.
