It's tiring to maintain that image in regular
being the brightest in all your eyes,
It's really tiring burning everyday
to be so called as STAR

Difficulties in life,
They come with a hidden hope
The hope for a good change
the hope of strength
to embrace the struggles
and find the way
towards the good change.

When dramatic situations
Keep on knocking to door of your life
You gain vivid experiences
Your wishes always remain at the edge of fluctuation
Hence changes you and changes everything
This is a never ending process perhaps.
I mean,
"If I am a sunflower today
I may be a rose tomorrow..."

They say eternal love is a myth
But what if
I see my whole world revolving around you
My eyes soothes,
My busy thoughts get calmed
My soul gets peace with just a glimpse of yours
You are in my prayers
You are in my wishes
You are in my laughter and tears.
And this is how I can define my love for you
My love,
May I bow my head before you?
Because I can see my god in you.

Across the desert very abandoned
Thriving in the dry extremes
Very sharp and tough ,it seems
The green hedgehog with spines all-around
Standing still in the sandy ground
Scary it is with its prickly pins
The firmest succulent of all times
Yes!
It's the spiny cacti,least attractive
Independent and extremely adaptive
Defying the odds it blooms anyways
Love and care within,it do employs
A lot to learn from this prickly pear
To live a life without fear
So can you choose desert over garden
To take your home this inspiring cactochan?

One of my lockdown routine
To pluck curry leaves,clean and green
As ordered by mom everyday
I asked her- is it that necessary anyway?
Oh yes! Oh yes! She replied
It's flavour and aroma cannot be denied
The versatile leaves with a magical power
Full of nutrients and appetising flavour
A little punch of these citrusy leaves
And the heavenly taste that one receives
The secret superstar of every food dish
Starting from rice to chicken and fish
Now it's not less than an obsession
The ingredient at topmost selection
The rutacean our very favourite
As it makes the food tasty and delight.
