To my dear younger self,
I am sorry there was no one there to protect you, hold you tight when you were breaking into pieces, help you guide through the way of life, praising you for your achievements & motivating you to not give up upon the failure.
I am sorry you were so alone & lonely that you had to pickup those survival tactics to make sure you don't fall behind.
I am sorry you had to mature so fast & that you did not get your fair share of childhood memories, but instead got childhood traumas.
I am really proud of you, for not giving up.
I am really proud of you, for growing up by yourself in the best possible way.
I am really proud of you because you had all the rights to give up, grow up to become a wasted brat, even worse a criminal, but, you instead chose to grow into a strong independent woman with her own values, morals & ethics.
And I promise, just like you made me feel proud of you. I will make all your childhood dreams & wishes come true. I will make sure that you're proud of me, and that when you look at me you feel every struggle was worth it.
I hope to see a letter from you telling me how proud you're of me. I promise to never give up just like you didn't.
