Deflection or Introspection?

Deflecting blame comes naturally to us. If anything goes wrong, it is always someone else’s fault. We think by doing so, we will absolve ourselves, and remain unscathed. But truth is - we know when we err; whether we admit it or accept it or not, or someone points it out or not. We know.

And if instead of deflecting, we accept our folly and introspect and work towards rectifying it, we will do ourselves a favor.

For you and you alone are responsible for your actions and reactions. You can blame the world all that you want, but it won’t change a thing till you change your outlook, accept your mistakes when wrong, and take concrete steps to rectify them.

Remember:
Passing the blame makes us a coward; accepting our mistakes makes us a braveheart.

Deflection makes us a victim; Introspection makes us a victor.

The world is not at fault for your miseries. You have a choice to bring about a change. Trust your instincts, have faith in your efforts - do the best you can - nothing more, nothing less.

Life’s all about choices we make. So, choose wisely.
