कभी - कभी जिंदगी की भागदौड़ से कुछ पल
अपने लिए भी निकालो, ये वक्त तो ऐसे ही चलता रहेगा,
कुछ पल अपने लिए भी चुरालो,
ये बात हम अक्सर दूसरों से कहते हैं,
लेकिन जब अपनी बारी आती है,
तो कुछ नहीं होता अभी समय है बस यही कहते हैं
आज नहीं तो कल पर हमेशा टालते रहते हैं,
यह जिंदगी कि दौड़ है कभी रूकने नहीं वाली
हर शख्स के पास आज समय नहीं खाली है!!

इन खामोश लम्हों में मैंने खुद से मिलने की कोशिश की है,
आज इक वक्त बीत जाने पर खुद से शिक़ायत की है।
कि इतना भी अच्छा क्यों बनना था तुम्हें,
क्यों हर शख्स को इतनी तब्बजो दी है,
कब तक अपने ही तो है क्या शिकवा करना उनसे,
इक दिन सब समझ जाएंगे, यह कहकर अपने दिल को तसल्ली दी है,
इन खामोश लम्हों में मैंने खुद से इक वक्त बीत जाने के बाद खुद से ही शिकायत की है

वो पहले जैसी देर तक बातें नहीं होती, जब दिल चाहे मुलाकातें नहीं होती, बीते दिनों जैसे जब दिल हुआ कहीं घूमने का प्रोग्राम बना लेना अब पहले जैसी मुलाकातें नहीं होती, वो कुछ अच्छा होने पर सबसे पहले दोस्तों को बताना, वो किसी बात पर दु:खी होने पर दोस्तों का समझाना, सच में दोस्ती हो या प्यार किसी तीसरे के आने पर फर्क तो पड़ता है,
