Your petals behold the crimson glare
That fires up the empyrean space
Enfolded into a celestial origami
Prepared by the devil's hands.

The crimson floret mimic a woman's lips
Luscious, alluring and arcane,
That lures you to perceive it's touch
And dive into it's sweet amorous essence.

Oh! If I were a bee
I'd hover around
And probe your scented heart
And waft them in the langourous breeze
To tend to the broken twigs and barks.

But soon you'll wilt
As you're meant to be
And trample on the ground
And I'll keep my words at bay
Till another one comes around.

My love comes in a small package
Treasured like chest of gold in the far corner of a dark cave; the threshold of which is guarded by fears, insecurities, doubts and enigma.
When you fall for me you'll fall deep in that cave, braving your way through all the strong ginormous guards that I've built for myself and then you'll be welcomed by a soft, bouncy ball of joy that'll take you high just like how trampoline shoots you to the sky each time you fall on it.

My love is like that tiny droplet that tries to balance itself on a blade of grass after a bashful pouring rain. It tries to somehow meld with the identity of those lush green leaves, glistening on it, enhancing it and resonating both of their beauties in metaphors and poetries.

My love contains within it the vastness of the infinite blue sky that takes different shades in different seasons but tries to exude beauty in all of them. Like the dream of a caged bird it'll invite you to this mad ingenuousness and float on it like white puffy clouds

And my darling, all my love in it's earthly sense is saved just for you. Just take one dive. I promise you would be cherished for all the beats that my heart can make.

CLANDESTINE

I see how my potions seep through you
With every touch
You shudder.
I brew the spell in my head
And onto your lips
They wield their powers.

I trace a flame down your spine
Your hips twitch in pervasive motion;
Clandestine touches rave your body
Setting your naked frame on fire.

Your demons are now wildly awake
A frolic of red wash your face
You take the steps down my neck
While I lay bare
Basking and writhing
Under your warm exhales.

Alluring, seducing your motions grow
As your thirsty mouth
Delves into my rose-wet cave
Cradling and stirring recklessly
Till the euphoric bliss fills me in
And your name escapes my lips in fragile moans
Echoing my unquestioned submission to you
Again and again!

My lover's eyes -
A maze of unspoken words and steady confidence
Latches to mine.
It medles silently with my sweet innocence and wild gaze
Burning up my tongue
Shuddering my lips
And chasing right down to a place so secretly divine.
Illicit at first
Lust fuelling at the back of my mind
Trying to catch what it is
Yet afraid that maybe it's not what I think it is.
We take small steps...
My blushing cheeks and your bold questions;
We paint some strings red
And leave white lies here and there.

Time flies and roses bloom
Stares morph to touches
And touches prompt us to confess :
Feelings we knew existed
But were unable to grasp and vent.
Our pages are still empty
Only some words have been firmly inked.
Dreams and fantasies are still brewing
And someday they'll all meet the reality.

FLICKER
Alone on the window, a candle sits
It's wick bearing a waning flame
Once it burnt, tall and proud
A beacon of hope amidst life's despair.

The wax; it melts,
Dripping along,
Cascading in exquisite twists.
I gaze into the strifing light
It reflects :
A metaphor of my life in it's flickering flame.

A fleeting wind bickers with it
Insistent to ebb it away
The fragile flame aches and sighs
Dimming every second, begging to stay...

Finally it flickers for one last time
Before the wicked wind withers it away
The resilient flame that fought so long
Is now a wisp of smoke and grey.

I've sat through and seen it all
My life ambling in a candle flame.
We'll all be extinguished by the wind of time
And at the end the ashes will reminisce our memories
That will mist our lovers' eyes.

And the sky was on fire
A pyre of golden hazel and red
Burning amidst the delirium blues
Trying to engulf it all, totally unnerved
By the colossus of it's nemetic hues.

The mountains and trees beneath
Were riveted to the battlefield above.
Ablazed by the fiery abendote on one side
And beguiled by the nefarious blues on the other,
They were perturbed about which side to ride .

The swirling river was utterly enthralled
To be painted with shades of azure and grey
While the amber sheen danced upon
The dew-strewn grass and fluttering insects.

The robin sat on the drooping branches
Singing its last song for the day
Flock of cranes returned to their home
Their tired bodies silhouetted against the chromatic warfare.

But the battle was not fought for long
As the purple clouds curtained the crimson glare,
The scarlet fire that burnt so bright
Now ebbed away in the West.

The sky now wore a sombre crown
Dousing everything beneath with it's ghostly shade.
The trees, the river was murked by dark clouds
Until tomorrow And the sky would be on fire again!

A million faces yet to be seen
A million places to go.
Embarked on a journey from seen to unseen
I wish to stand at the wonderland's shore

She was an elysian beauty
That seemed to mesmerise all-
Her core ran deep like the resilient roots
But her soul never touched the ground.
Her eyes were an enigmatic bliss-
A mishmash of viridity and power
The scars she wore were reminiscent
Of the vicious storms she had encountered.
A simmering rage burnt inside her;
She was too fierce to be chained,
But the gentleness of her soft exterior
Caressed everyone
Like a nightingale's song on a gloomy day.

I don't know how words can express our apology for being so unkind to you for decades. You were born on this earth to shower us with the beauty of your emerald leaves that hold the dew drops in the morning, your resilient branches that never let go of it's "soil-mate" no matter how tough the wind is. You stroke the heavy clouds to shed their tears and then suck those tears in to herald a new beginning. You are the very reason we, the monstrous humans exist; yet we continue to shred you into pieces to feed our selfish greeds. We cut you down to adorn our home, completely oblivious of the fact that you are the home that adorns the lives of a million species on this earth. I know that the entire day will be gone if I sit down and start enlisting the damages that we have done to you.
But I will still like to apologise for that's what the least I can do. Today is a day dedicated to saving you and I'm glad that we have realised that you are important and that you need to be cherished. We have laughed at your tears for a long time but now we promise to make you smile.
