Who knew wanting to be loved,
Came with a manual full of rules,
Full of do's and those don'ts
It's been so tough,
It's been so hard
I just want a love which won't be tearing me apart,
Just want a love which won't need me begging
I'm starting to lose the light,
At the end of the tunnel
Being happy seems to be borderline overbearing,
Running and running,
I reach nowhere,
I never begged before,
I did this time,
And look what I got
A hard love,
Love so hard, that it shattered me,
Into so many pieces,
That I still been finding those pieces back,
And thats when I understood,
Love now has a manual,
Now has those dos and don'ts,
And now it's me against the manual,
Seemingly also against love.

किसीने पुछा इश्क़ बन जाये हम ऐसा कैसे होगा,
इश्क़ बन जाना उतना भी आसान कहाँ ।
जब चाहत मतलब से परे हो जाए,
और जब उनसे इश्क़ होने के वजह ना ढूंढना पड़े इश्क़ बस हो जाए।
जब इश्क़ होना ही काफ़ी हो और कुछ न लगे,
और जब इश्क़ आपकी डर की वजह न बन हिम्मत बने।
इश्क़ इतना हो कि आपको उनकी परवाह से भी इश्क़ हो,
उनकी परवाह तो क्या उनके ज़िक्र से भी एक अलग ही इश्क़ हो।

साथ किसी ऐसे के मिले मुझे की हमदोनों के इश्क से ज़्यादा हमदोनों इश्क बन जाए।

की कभी हाथ छूटे मेरा तुम्हारे हाथों से,
मगर उम्मीद ये ज़रूर हैं कि ख़ुदा ख़ुश रखे तुम्हे़,
और तुम यूँ ही मुस्कुराते रहो़ हर चंद बातों पे।

एक दिन सोचा खुशी से पूछूँगी की उसे पाना इतना मुश्किल क्यों,
पर डर लगा फिर कहीं ये न कह दे वो की,
उसे पाना मुश्किल तो कभी था हीं नहीं,
बस हम उस तक पहुंचने वाले रास्तों को खुद ही मुश्किल कर दिए।
