Glorious Kalma (faith) on tongues, in Sajdah (prostration), They (Muslims) fall
Before The Almighty, The Sovereign
Then let not scare them, the oppression of Disbeleivers,
For They'll (oppressors) soon meet their ends.

The Day My Lord has promised
The Hour that will befall
Just bide the Resurrection,
And the blow of Final call.

They'll (Israeli) capture the entire domain and take over Aqsa (mosque)
To direct the world at their whims,
Yet deter will not the Momin's (pure Muslim) Taqwa (Faith),
Across avalanche of hardships, he'll swim.

Having returned from my native place,
Of Settling here I much regret
Neither the land, nor the inhabitants
Suit Me or I suit them.
On the day my plane here, landed
I had much of surprises in store
So much to deal with,
And to open new doors.
26th was the date of inevitable return
2019, in October, of the fine summer.
As much I remember, my cheekbones were at a height
Zeal laced in demeanour, to welcome new paradigms.

And along the way, I met so many
Different by nature, different from Me.
Varying in collection of intimacy
Different in all aspects, I see.
Then my curious soul, delved too deep
Into broken souls and fates of misery
Assuaged them to my best, lended my help
So that to elation, they may find, their key
With clean accounts that held authenticity
Sanguine by attitude, cheered each company
Tried to exude happy energy
Little did I know, I am not any fairy!

People here, dont return the goodness
From My people there, much contrary.
So I have learnt my lesson, learnt too well
That neither the land nor the inhabitants
Suit me or I suit them..!

Already been a year, caged in the house
But the lockdown doesn't cease to extend.
Helter skelter every soul of Uttar Pradesh,
Now lives in a terrored state again.

Roads and sky have been abandoned,
Rampant is the living despair
When rested from profanities on tongue,
Mouths celebrate the economic mayhem.

Then you ask me of my wellness?!
Worry not, I am safe.
If safe is the definition of dubious, lugubrious silence,
Verily I am the safest of the safe...

Wan and wane, the mindset now dwells
Over the running lines of boredom and pain
Busy, yet not.
Present, but not.
Life has brought us to what stage?

Cruel animosity of wisdom in leaders
Has pushed us to the verge of desperate ends
Pandemic was and a pandemic is
But of folly more than what Corona rends

Belief of purification by sacred drops of Ganges
To the fair of Kumbh, invited thousands
And met, they, accursed destiny with early demise
Ah! Ludicrous was their wit of judgement.

Then elections and rallies for a winning party
Was not to be compromised but much held
So what if commoners deal with the disease?
Aye..Power is important huh?!
F**k the statistics!
