Shows me the way through the fridge
To grab and feast to my heart's content
On all the delicacies displayed on the rack
What if the current goes out and the UPS too?
Darkness enters uninvited into my house
Messy me stumbling to find a matchbox
To reach the candle or oil lamp
Which never comes handy
Ah! The electricity has come
Oh! My search comes to an end
Bless the scientists and their inventions
Which makes our lives simple and easy
Hassle-free and care free.
