जब भी घर की याद आती है तो दिल को कुछ इस तरह मना लेता हूं
निन्द नहीं आती जब भी रातों में तो आंसुओं को तकिए में छुपा लेता हूं

मां-बाबा के छोटे से आशियाने की पाबंदी में सुकुन है।

गर्म तवे पर वो जले हाथों से भी रोटी जलने से पहले उतार लेती है
तुम जब भी मांगोगे एक रोटी वो दुसरी रोटी उपहार में देती हैं
लाख मुश्किलें हो जिंदगी में एहसास भी नहीं होने देती,
वो मां ही तो है तुफानों में भी अपने आंचल के तले तुम्हारी जिंदगी संवार देती है।।।।।।

वो शायद फिर‌ आज मेरे शहर आई है
मन तो करता है मिल लु उससे
लेकिन क्या पता वो अपनी बातों में अब कौनसा जहर लाई है।
