HOLDING YOU CLOSE
When night falls soft and shadows creep,
I curl behind you, lost in sleep.
My arms around you, warm and tight,
A perfect end to day’s last light.
The way you fit just right with me,
Like two carved waves in one calm sea.
My heart, so full, can barely keep
The joy I feel when you’re asleep.
No grander peace, no sweeter rest,
Than holding you against my chest.
For in your warmth, my soul takes flight—
My love, my calm, my whole delight.-
KASHMIR CALLS
The scent of *Sheer chai* in winter's tight grip,
The way dawn would blush on your snow-drift lips—
These aren't just memories, but bones of my heart,
Pulled from your soil, yet never apart.
O Kashmir! They call you "paradise,"
But you're the quiet in my chaotic skies.
The home I can't hold, yet can't lose—
A language my pulse still knows by rote.
Let others paint your beauty in gold,
But I—I remember how your cold
Could bite through my coat as I'd laugh, unafraid,
A child of your earth, now a ghost in its shade.-
KASHMIR CALLS
O mother of longing! Why do you cry?
In every lost alley, in every sky?
The walnuts we cracked by the old temple stair,
The ball we lost laughing—do
You were my first sky, my cradle of light,
Where mountains stood guard through the star-bitten night.
Every cobblestone knew the rhythm of my play,
Now time sweeps them farther—yet here they stay.-
KASHMIR CALLS
I grew up in your lap, oh valley of mine,
Where snow-peaks kiss clouds in a love so divine.
Your rivers still murmur my childhood name,
Though I left you behind, chasing life's game.
The baker's clay oven, the scent of hot bread,
The saffron fields glowing like sunrise spread—
Now haunt me in pixels, these fragments so small,
Yet they thunder like memories, breaking my wall.-
KASHMIR CALLS
The baker’s warm lavas, the kehwa’s sweet steam,
The waterfalls dancing like fragments of dream.
Every stone, every stream knows the child I once was
You call me in silence, just because...
Time pulls me away, but the memories cling,
To the shikara’s sway, to the bulbul’s spring.
Kashmir, my paradise, my first earthly rhyme,
I carry your seasons beyond space and time.

♥️KASHMIR CALLS♥️
A whisper of wind through the Chinar trees,
A melody hummed by the morning breeze.
The streets where I laughed, the lanes where I played,
Now echo in dreams where my heart has stayed.
Oh, mother of mountains, so gentle, so wise,
Your rivers still sing lullabies.
The saffron-kissed dawns, the snow’s soft embrace—
You live in my soul, though I’m far from your face.

*Whispers of the Wild Heart*
The sun dips low in golden hue,
A blush upon the evening’s view.
The river hums a tender tune,
As fireflies dance beneath the moon.
Your hand in mine, the world grows small—
Just breath and touch, and that is all.
The stars above, so vast, so bright,
Are mirrored in your eyes tonight.
The night is soft, the air alive,
With secrets only hearts contrive.
No words are needed, love is known
In silent ways the wild has shown.
For nature speaks in tongues of old,
Of roots entwined and stories told.
And we, like vines, in twilight’s art,
Are bound by more than flesh or heart.-
A Kiss, Two Ways
An emoticon kiss drifts, light as air—
*"Hey love, remember? I’m still there."*
A fleeting glow, a brief delight,
Then fades into the pixel night.
But flesh-and-blood, a kiss true-born—
Like dawn’s first blush, like roses warm.
A thirst of years in one touch sways,
A taste of heaven, a sunlit haze.
*"I am yours"*—the silent cry,
Etched in bones, no need to sigh.
Not just a touch, but roots that grow,
A heart’s forever, sweet and slow.-
