With more light, it became vivid,
was I basking in the faux sun?
With a sour aftertaste, I craved for more;
the venomous sweet of longings;
Thinking about the tickings to come,
the ticks of today went in vain;
With all the germophobes around myself,
all the dirt was mine to cherish;
In the ball full of charades and smiles,
my long face was an alien entity;
It makes me ponder to where I belong,
a planet out of this system all together.

And there you were standing with your hands stained in grey, and people still appreciated it!

There is nothing to cry over,
Delusions vanished and the reality came through,
It was a colourful apocalypse with tragedy lurking around,
I'm content that it ended with just a little damage.

It was reality they were searching for, but instead got stuck in a never-ending mirage of desire.

How can i forget the words of guilt you spilt after the disaster?
It felt as though the heart was numb and the breathing was calm,
Eyes held no glitter,
And a poker face,
Is it how it feel, when emotions die a terrifying death.

Was it just me, or you were drowning too,
Can you remember the time we went in this mirage and now stuck!
Yours was the idea of not getting a boat and i was a fool to listen,
Now I'm here alone fighting the megalodons and warfare,
Do you still even consider turning the sail and returning,
Or was it just a timely allure you made me visualise?

In the chaos of what was left, you were an impeccable mark of beauty, your presence was though a fleeting moment of glee that i never desired to leave behind.
