Girlfriend! (Part 2)

"WHAT?” Rana gawks as if he has been stroke by an enormous thunder. He cannot even remember what he ate last night. How does Trisha expect he would remember her birthday? The brain of a boy is made only to remember the time schedule of cricket and football matches. Expecting more than that would be like finding water in Sahara desert.
“You forgot. Didn’t you?” Trisha turns red.
“No, I remembered.” Rana manages to say while scooting back. "It just went out of head. A bit."
"Moron!" She roars. "You completely forgot it. Admit it."
For a boyfriend, it is almost a sin if not an apocalypses to forget his girlfriend’s birthday. And if that girlfriend is a ghost, it will be perhaps more than an apocalypse.
Even though the existence of a ghost girlfriend is impossible to a rational mind, Rana found one. Sounds absurd, isn’t it? Before acquainting with after-life shadow of his girlfriend, he used to consider ghost absurd too. And now the word "Absurd" has gone missing from his dictionary, while the word "Ghost" has been switched with "Girlfriend".
But Why and how? Well, ‘how?’ can be answered. ‘Why?’– even the greatest scholars of the world get stumped there.
