Koi vaada nahi, koi naam nahi...
Phir bhi dil har baar tum tak chala jaata hai.
Yeh sirf ek ehsaas hai —
Jiske andar chhupa hai ek poora rishta.

Lafzon ki zarurat nahi,
Phir bhi sab keh jaate hain hum —
Bina dare, bina soche.

Koi farz nahi,
Phir bhi...
Tum thako toh main chup ho jaati hoon,
Main bikharoon toh tum samet lete ho.

Na is rishte ko naam chahiye,
Na tasdeeq.
Sirf ek ehsaas —
Khamoshi mein sab keh jaane ka.

Shayad isi liye,
Yeh Ehsaas-e-Rishta kehlaata hai.

Chaand apni roshni mein kho gaya tha,
taare apni khamoshi mein...
Dono ek hi aasman ke hissa the,
par kismat jaise alag likhi thi.
Sirf door se ek doosre ko dekhte rahe,
umeed ka ek dhaaga pakde hue.

Har roz do jung hoti hain...
Ek khud se,
Ek duniya se — khud ke liye.

Har roz thoda jeet jaati hoon,
Nayi umeed se muskurati hoon.
Kabhi bikhar ke ro leti hoon,
Phir khud ko hi thaam leti hoon.

Har roz andheron se ladti hoon,
Taaki roshni zinda rahe...
Aur main bhi.
