Pyaar karne ki , Masumiyat me dobne ki ,
Teri harr Jhalak me khud ko todne ki ,
Bas ek baar Chahat hi toh ki hoti .

Ek baar Ranjishe adaa toh ki hoti nafrat se
Harr paimane me tujhe manane tak ,
Shabnam ki boondh ko girne tak ,
Apne fitoor ko Qainaat se ladne tak ,
Tujhpe sau dafaa Fanah hone tak ,
Bas ek baar Chahat hi toh ki hoti ...
