I have faith in you."
Sometimes that's all you ever need.

You wake up every morning
Thinking about those kind of people.
The kind who knows you.

And they ask you
To wake up every morning and sleep every night
First thinking about yourself.
They teach you not to drown
In sorrow when time feels low.
They assure you of their presence
Any time.

You go out in the world
And forget that kind of people.
Look for the same thing in others
When it always has been right there
Beside you.

They are worth it.
Worth every effort.

कभी एक दूसरे को जानने की कोशिश
कभी संभल कर रखे हुए कदम
कभी फिसले हुए पैर
कभी दबी सी मुस्कुराहट
कभी तूफानी हवा की गूंज
कभी अमलतास से बिछा आंगन
कभी अनकहे बोल और
उनके पीछे की कहानियां
बातें, सिर्फ तुम और मैं
तक नहीं,
कोई जंग
या प्यार के दो पल नहीं,
गुज़रते वक्त की याद या,
आने वाले की उम्मीद नहीं
बातें सिर्फ शब्द नहीं
हर चुप्पी की आग़ाज़ होती हैं
बातें।
