And I feel like a bird.
Ready to break into a free flight
And yet I feel so scared
as I leave behind
my nest, my niche.
Maybe everyone does so.
Maybe everyone is
slightly happy,
a tad nervous...
before...
before they actually spread their wings
and fly.
Yeah! I have been told about
the exhilarating feeling
that will follow.
But it still feels strange.
This freedom to scan the skies.
I would rather be in my niche,
for one more day.
Just one more day.
Maybe I would get the courage
to say my goodbyes
and take that flight.
