ನನ್ನ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ವ್ಯಸನ

ನಾನೊಬ್ಬ ಮದ್ಯ ವ್ಯಸನಿ,
ಕುಡಿದು ತೂರಾಡಿ ಬರುವೆ ನಾನು ಮನೆಗೆ,
ಆ ಸಾರಾಯಿ ಇಂದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಈ ದುಶ್ಚಟ ನನ್ನ ಮನೆ ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿದೆ,
ನನ್ನ ಮನದ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ ಈಗ ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆ,
ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರೇಯಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಜೊತೆ ಮುನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.

ಹಲವಾರು ಶ್ರಮ ಮಾಡಿ ನೋಡಿದೆ ನಾನು,
ಬಿಡಲು ಆಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಈ ಹಾಳು ಮದ್ಯಪಾನ,
ನನ್ನ ಸಾವಿಗೆ ಖಂಡಿತ ಕಾರಣ ನನ್ನ ಈ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ವ್ಯಸನ.

ಮರಳಿ ನಾ ಬರಬೇಕು ನನ್ನ ಬಾಳಿಗೆ,
ಕೊನೆ ಹಾಡಬೇಕು ಈ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಕುಡಿವ ಚಟಕೆ,
ಮತ್ತೆ ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಬಾಳಬೇಕು ನಾನು ನನ್ನವಳು ಬೇಗನೆ.
