A Year Of Understanding And Love

Another year to say goodbye to. To be thankful for, to begrateful for. This year tested my mental health like no other. But we should count the blessings in our lives and appreciate them. Many ups and downs, yet we overcame everything. Here's to a new year, better me. Insha Allah.

All the romanticism and all the love that is hyped in movies is nothing like real one. It's not even close to that. Love is something not everyone can do and something not everyone can understand.

Remind myself of the things that broke me

He became the source of my constant peace and happiness... Became my support when I was going through the worst phase of my life, continuously stayed with me when I couldn't give him anything in return. Even in fights, he became someone for whose happiness I would happily die. When he wept in my pain and worried in my worries, when he kept me a priority before his ego and anger. The way he always comes back to me even after fighting with me, apologising and making me feel special. When he loved me unconditionally and selflessly, I realised I am in love with him.
