इसी गलफेह्मी में
आत्मा को छोड़ जाता है कि मुझे
किसी की गुलामी पसंद नहीं

के इतने सवाल क्यों हैं
जो बीत गई सो बात गई
गुजरे लम्हों के साथ गई
फ़िसलती रेत का दरिया है,
वक्त कुदरत का जरिया है
कर्मो का एक पैमाना है,उम्र तो एक बहाना है
अपने अपने वक्त पे,सबको आना जाना है
इच्छा भी और आशा भी,हाथ लगे निराशा भी
सतरंगी इस जीवन के,सब रंग देखे तन मन के
फिर ऐ दिल तुझे हर बात का
मलाल क्यों है।
इक सवाल है मन में के इतने सवाल क्यों हैं

इबादत से कम न था

सोचा न था आयेगी
ऐसी आफत भी
तेरे नाम से करने लगा हूं
अपने दस्तखत भी
