The suave, the grace, the elegance, the élan; her crowning jewel.
The drops of sweat, the glowing flame; of love, passion and fire
The bated breath, throbbing heart; ‘Twas her dance of desire.
Danseuse from the folks lore , she danced like Terpsichore
If being in love can feel like this, then she was in love for sure.

Zakhmon ko kaanto se silne ka hunar hum se seekhiye
Aazmaaye hain Humne nuskha e tabeeb kayi.
Ranj o gham me jeene ka maza hum se poochhiye
Khaaye hain hum ne chot dil ke qareeb kayi.
Khalwat ke faayede hain kitne zara ghaur se sochiye
Banaaye hain hum safar humne ajeeb o ghareeb kayi.

Ban ke sooraj maine zamaane ko roshni di hai
Par log kahte hain ye tapish achhi nahi hai.
Koi bataye ki ye roshni aur tapish dono mere hi pahlu hain
Koi ek na ho to phir meri shaksiyat sachhi nahi hai.

Bruised and battered; dusted but not done,
Broken soul and the vent; rays of hope, it allows.
The sliver of dream, the simmer of joy, the shade of purple,
