A good old grief is like cold
It hits when you least expect it just like snow

I go down the memory lane every day
I try to move on but fail every day
Although it was one sided it was love for me
So it's difficult to overcome these emotions as you can see
I binge on a lot of romantic dramas just to live those moments again
It didn't mean anything to you as you say, but it might take me forever to erase them
I try to make new memories just to let go of the past
But I believe I lack proper closure in order to move on that fast

Everytime I travel home nostalgia hits like snow
I remember every pleasant and unpleasant memories on the road which are sometimes hot and sometimes cold.
The time we spent together, the food we ate till we were broke
It's been long and I believe I've moved on
But I do forget that I have a tendency to hold on
Glaring, staring, gazing at the sky
The journey I am on makes me wanna cry
This is why I like to travel on the unknown roads
Where some new memories can be created with some new people I might want to know
I face this everytime I take that path but mind you I don't regret the past
Just want to shut the thoughts of not being with you anymore
I say this very loud and clear so even my heart can hear
But.... Nostalgia is a great feeling you know 😊
