इस बार जब मैंने रहने की जगह बदली
तो ऐसा लगा कि...चलो अब घर मिल ही गया
पर कमबख्त यह बदलता मौसम.... दीवारें चुना गया
हमें कहां ख़बर थी, जिसमें हम आशियाना ढूंढ रहे
वो हमें बेघर कर... हमारी रूह तक भिगा गया

दो पल ही सही, कोई साथ निभाने वाला चाहिए
जिंदगी भर नहीं तो सही, हंस कर गले लगाने वाला चाहिए

लोग बात दिल की करते है
पर आज भी बाते चेहरे से शुरू होती है

नींद नहीं आती तेरे एहसान तले
बस अब एक तेरा ही कर्ज़ चुकाना हैं

The starry sky appear more meaningful from the day you have entered in my life
The breeze flicker untouch notes of my soul as you arrive
How can someone be so enchanting and serene at the same time, I have learnt from you
I wish I could have been like you
The hardest of sorrows and hardest of laughter are incomplete without telling you the tiniest bit of tales
And with you all the odd- one turns pale
I look upto you whenever I crave for love, empathy, guidance, calmness, peace
I wonder how a person who was mere a stranger in the past has conquered my entire life with such an ease
It's not just a piece of poetry but a lil effort to show
How important you have become and this is just a bestow
