ಕಡಲ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂದಾಗ ಅಲೆಯೊಂದು ಹೊಡೆದು ತನ್ನತ ಸೆಳೆಯುತಿತು.
ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತು ಮನನೊಂದ ಮನಸು ಕಡಲನ್ನು ಸೇರಲು ಬಯಸುತಿತ್ತು.
ಈ ಜೀವನ ಹಾದಿಯು ಅಲೆಯಂತೆ ನಿಷ್ಕಲ್ಮಷವಾಗಿ ಧಡ ಸೇರಲು ಯೋಚಿಸುತಿತ್ತು.
ಆದರೆ ನಾವು ಪಡುವ ಶ್ರಮ ಅಲೆಯಂತೆ ಮಣ್ಣಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾವಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತಿತ್ತು.

ಓ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇಹ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮನ ಪಾಲು.
ಎಲ್ಲರೊಳಗೊಂದಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಬಾಳು.
ಅಳುವುದೇಕೆ ಮಂಕೆ ಈ ಮೂರೂ ದಿನದ ಬದುಕಿಗಾಗಿ.
ನಿನ್ನ ದೇಹ ಸೇರುವುದು ಮಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಅಲೆಯಂತೆ ಹಾವಿಯಾಗಿ.

ಕಾಣದ ಕಡಲನು ಸೇರುವ ಬಯಕೆ
ಕಡಲ ತೀರದಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಅಳುತಿರುವೆ ಏಕೆ.
ನೊಂದ ಹೃದಯ ಬಯಸುತಿದೆ ಆ ನಿನ್ನ ನಗುವ ಸದ್ದು ಕೇಳಲು
ಸೇರುತಿರುವೆ ದೂರದ ಕಡಲನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಪಾಠ ಹೇಳಲು.

ನೊಂದ ಜೀವಕೆ ಬೆಳಕು ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಕಿರಣ.
ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಸಾಗುತಿದೆ ನನ್ನ ಪಯಣ.
ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡೆ ಚಲಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮೋಡಗಳನು
ನಾ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಕೇಳಿ ಕಣ್ಣನೀರಿನಂತೆ ಸುರಿಸಿತು ಮಳೆಯನ್ನೂ.
