Is like reading a book,
When I read every word,
The Time stopped and said "Forever"

Once harmony meets symphony,
Harmony greets with a smile
Symphony hymn so loud
Can't we skip all this ordeal ?
O symphony ! Let's be more comfortable.
You waited and tried, a little harder every time.
You rushed, You stopped and again you start
Isn't this instance telling you something?
- as if your presence was not hard enough,
Harmony sat and stared at symphony
Wondered her limitations and agony
So keen to accept the pain and embrace the guilt
But symphony held her heart hostage for life.-
सिर्फ लफ्जों से हो वो इबादत कहां,
नियत का भी तो हिसाब होता है
बंदगी चाहे खुदा की हो या मुहब्बत की
सिर्फ अल्फाजों से कहां काम चलता है
ग़ज़लों से ही महफिल मुकम्मल नहीं होती,
श्रोताओं का भी उतना ही काम होता है,
जिक्र भर से अंजुमन – ए – शायरी यूं ही नहीं खिलती
शायरों का इश्क में मदहोश होना भी जरूरी होता है !-
