सुनहरे पन्नो पर मोहब्बत के
खूबसूरत किस्से तो बहुत पढ़े हैं जनाब

जो सच्चाई सिर्फ एक मीत से रखो,
तभी जानू कुछ खास हो आप।

They try to shush me up,
By bitter expressions and glaring stares.
They try to keep me mum,
By telling the stories of false nightmares.

For how long will you tame my mind?
For how long will I be a puppet?
One day no power will be able to bind,
From bursting me out my brain's vast turmoil.

And that will be the day when nothing,
Nothing will be raucous enough, dominant enough,
To be able to cease me to speak,
Nobody dogmatic, and no one who buffs.

One day I'll break free myself,
From all the handcuffs and feet-tying ordeals.
One day I'll stand with this head held high,
This hand on my heart and spill out all that it wills.

Depravation!

Of being a muggle among the gregarious.
Of being absorbed into the art of being unexpressive.
Of being swarmed with cluster of bits of incompletions.
Of being everything that tends to nothing.

Pine

Comes one stir after another,
Dwelling upon this surging clutter.
Swaying along until life goes,
All I hear is screaming chaos!
The world's shattered,
Human broken,
Beloved gone,
Abyssal around.
My heart aches, it knows no escape,
I pine for the world
That existed before this decay.

ठोकरों से सबक सारे,
कि कुछ गलितयों की सज़ा
जानते हुए भी दोहराते हैं।

कुछ रोज़ पुराने पन्ने पलट कर देख लेती हूँ,
मेरा कोई ज़र्रा वही कहीं बिखरा मिल जाता है।

खफ़ा नहीं हूँ इस बात से
कि क्यों उन लबों पर
मेरा ज़िक्र नहीं होता।

खफ़ा हूँ तो बस
इस ज़हन के मिजाज़ से,
जो सब जानते हुए भी
सच कुबूल नहीं करता।

मत इतरा अपनी खूबियों पर इतना,
अक्सर हाल की खूबियाँ
ज़िन्दगी भर की खामियों में
तब्दील हो जाती हैं।

Tell me something so hurtful that I don't miss you forever.

कुछ पल रेत से हाथ से फिसल गए,
जी चाहता है आज उन्हें जकड़ लूँ,
दुपट्टे के एक छोर से बाँध लूँ
या दिल में हमेशा के लिए सँभाल लूँ।
