कुछ शहर में सन्नाटे हैं
कुछ शहर में धमाके हैं,
कुछ शहर में शोर है,
कोई शहर खामोश है,
राजनीति के माहौल में
गुमनामी का दौर है,
कुछ शहर गुमनाम हैं
कुछ शहर बदनाम हैं,
गांव गांव की बात हैं
कुछ शहर एक दिखावा हैं,
तुम चुनोगे लोग सत्ता के लिए
कुछ सत्ता एक छलावा है।-
इतने सारे सच के बीच
एक तेरा सच ही झूठा निकला,
बाकी सब चिल्लाते रहे,
एक तेरा शोर ही गूंगा निकला,
तू आज़माता है सरहद की वादियों को
मगर तेरे तराजू का पैमाना खोखला निकला,
धमाकों के बीच जितना सन्नाटा,
उतने सन्नाटों में इंसानियत का जनाज़ा निकला,
लाश जब भूखे सो गए,
नज़दीक से फौजी का पलटन निकला,
बच्चे सड़ चुके थे जिंदा,
हुकुमत के ज़ुबान से एक शब्द ना निकला!-
From the ruins of love
rises the smoke of despair,
the ashes are red and fierce,
scattered on the ground,
smeared upon a gulf of heartbreak.
Those giddy illusions traveled,
from rainbows to mirages,
until the deepest wounds were found in silences!
They must have, they must have known more than the unknown,
everything that was, wasn't to be!
The rising smoke, dark and dense,
spiralling, choking the soul,
and leaving behind nothingness !-
Shot while wandering between
the narrow corridors,
love blossomed,
and held emotions in monochrome,
colors smeared on them
of hues unknown under the summer sun,
maybe ember and burnt orange? Who knows..
They stood in embrace
and shed shadows darker than grey,
The longer they wait, the lengthier the cast...
Towards the effervescent evenings,
in the depth of the darkness
The starry night sky reminds
of the love that is but to be found
Lost in the narrow bylanes of memory,
monochromes and infrared
that forlorn love awaits....
captured in a 'Photograph'!-
Everyone woman deserves a man who
desires their body with Lust,
touches their being with Love,
liberates their soul to Freedom!-
जितने किश्तों में बांटा है
तूने मेरी मोहब्बत को,
उतने टुकड़ों में दिल भी तोड़ा होता,
जितने किश्तों में किया मैने इंतेज़ार तेरा,
उतने ही ग़म में मुझसे मिला होता,
तेरे जाने से नहीं उदास मैं,
तेरे आने का मलाल है मुझको,
तू मिल कर भी मुझसे क्यों नहीं मिल पाता,
तेरी मोहब्बत जताने का ख़ौफ़ है मुझको।-
शायद तुम समझे नहीं
उस एक मुलाक़ात की वज़ह
जिस्मों के उलझने का तो एक बहाना था
रूह से मिलने की आस में
अफसोस सा रह गया फ़िर से,
फ़िर से ना हम मिल पाए, ना बिछड़
ये आख़री मुलाक़ात है या पहली?
फ़िर से कौन सा बहाना ढूंढेंगे
तुम्हारे रूह से मिलने का?-

Every breath, everyday, till eternity!

There's a tornado within
in the withdrawal of love,
There's so much noise around,
Shattered hearts and broken hopes
That string I held on to
Swung far away by the rapid wind,
I live in the past but stuck in the future,
Unless you, I refuse the present!
I declare the misery of the heart
I declare there's no other way
but to return to oneself!
Sometimes to a home
Sometimes to emptiness!-
