This parasite, it feeds on you.
It's craving for fullfilment ends up in licking up the last flame in you. It tries to fill it's never full stomach with the flesh and bone of your dreams. Desires are replaced by needs. Constant need for things that doesn't matter in the end. It changes you to a tool to harvest love and validation.

I say kill the parasite!! Feel the pain. Pain will be your salvation. Liberation to the stark truth of life.

Thought

It came into existence as a tiny firefly.
The firefly wandered the corridors of my past. Shimmering along the stacks of memories. Spreading the fire on everything in it's way. Now the whole place burns. I suffer in the scorching heat. It's unbearable to stay still, with unquenchable appetite it consumes everything in my present. It all started from the firefly, that tiny creature I gave birth to.

SOUL

To expand is a basic Instinct of our universe. Everything in the universe and itself is trying to expand maybe even beyond it's grasp. Life's desire for expansion is fulfilled through reproduction. But humans have different ways to expand beyond his physical realm. In the form of passion, religion, command, service, compassion, love, hate...numerous ways to expand. Even a single thought in our mind has the ability to expand and spread like wild fire consuming all other thoughts and reason. It is called pleasure. If we try to overcome it by compassion, we can create a consciousness that will spread even beyond us and may thrive even after the end of our physical existence.

Organism

Every living and non living thing in this universe is interconnected, existence can never be in complete isolation. All your thoughts, words and deeds have impact in this universe and being a part of it even in you.

Long story short each of your destructive thought, word or action like anger, hate, jealousy etc. against anything will always be destructive to yourself.

Restrain

Self control may have played an important role in human evolution. When the chimpanzee realised that to survive there are more important things than eating and mating, like forming groups developing communication and discipline, it started to evolve. So refrain may always help us to evolve. Each and every emotion, habit, palate and pleasure is interconnected. If we want to evolve, refrain maybe necessary in all spheres of life. To put it in simple words that extra 5 minutes we spend in our social media is connected to the extra bite of food we eat, the extra hour of sleep, the extra peg of whiskey, the extra episode of the webseries, the extra pound of weight, the extra pill for headache and may lead to an extra step towards the end. We do know that when we achieve something we do sacrifice something else.
