The last scan
A tunnel of silence, cold and wide,
Where shadows and sound quietly collide.
I enter not just with body, but soul,
As questions swirl in a spinning scroll.
The clicks and thuds, like distant drums,
Tell stories only the scanner hums.
But I carry hope in every scan—
A quiet strength, just as I am.-
Inferiority Complex
Child’s Perspective – “A Shadow Within”
I walk behind, afraid to try,
Their eyes too sharp, their bars too high.
They praise the stars, I dim my light,
Too scared to dream, too shy to fight.
I shrink to fit, I act so small,
While voices whisper, “You’re nothing at all.”
But deep inside, a fire aches—
To be enough, for my own sake.
Parent’s Perspective – “Why Don’t You See?”
You’re gold to us, though you don’t see,
We only wish you’d dare to be.
You dim yourself while we admire,
Your every spark, your hidden fire.
We never meant to raise your doubt,
But pushed too hard to bring it out.
If only you could see you through
The loving eyes we look with, which is absolutely true
-
Who will love an ugly woman like me?
Forty-five years, no warm memory.
No father's hug, no one to care,
My son's silence is too much to bear.
No lover, no friend, just shadows and fears—
I wait for death to answer my tears.-
I know I’ve irritated you, time and again,
With endless love, with joy and pain.
I clung too tight, I cared too deep,
Whispered my feelings when you needed sleep.
I laughed too loud, I cried too much,
And begged the stars just for your touch.
But trust me now, though I crossed a line,
You’ll never find a love like mine.
My chaos came with a heart so pure,
A love so mad, yet meant to endure.
I gave you pieces no one could see,
The hidden storms that lived in me.
You may move on, and that’s alright,
But my love will haunt your quietest night.
One day you’ll smile, maybe even sigh,
Realizing my love was rare as the sky.-
I know I can't be yours, though I try,
But trust me, you're mine beneath every sky.
I whisper your name in silence and pain,
While dancing in dreams, I kiss the rain.
I can't say I'm fine—it's a gentle disguise,
Yet I smile like stars lighting tear-filled skies.
I'll be the warmth when your cold days align,
And taste for you always as sweet as wine.
For you, I may be just a call away,
But for me, I’m just a thought away.
Think of me once, and I’ll appear,
No distance can dim a love so clear.
Though fate may keep us worlds apart,
You still live in the rhythm of my heart.-
Till My Last Breath
I’ve admired you from afar with silent grace,
Now even if you leave, my love won’t erase.
Your touch, your breath on my neck, so true,
Will carry me forward, breathing only you.
My love asks nothing, yet gives its all,
It won’t fade if you don’t return my call.
Even if another touches me or holds you near,
In my heart, it's only you I hold dear.
Each second, my love will only grow—
Till my last breath, this you must know.
This body and soul belong only to you,
None can claim us—my love is beyond what anyone knew.-
I wait each day where the jasmine sways,
For the sound of your car and the golden haze.
Your smile, it breaks like morning’s gleam,
More vivid than even my sweetest dream.
The scent you wear, it clings to air,
A breath of you when you’re not there.
You hold my hand as you drive so slow,
A silent promise in every glow.
And when you kiss it, soft and shy,
My heart forgets the world, the why.
The street, the sky, the fading light—
All bloom with love when you're in sight.
Till then I linger, lost and true,
The world stands still… until it's you.
-
I’ve reached a stage—I’m no longer worried,
Whether you accept me or reject me hurried.
I found my worth while chasing your love,
Came face to face with myself—don’t know how.
Now I’m neither shaken nor am I bothered,
By your love or your hatred—nothing altered.
I know myself better, I shine unshattered—
My best self blooms, untouched, uncatered.-
Go with the flow
Said a light with a glow.
God never judged anyone till date,
He even loves the sinner of late.
Why pray for their destruction,
When you can work on self-construction?
If they're destined to grow after cheating you despite your care,
Why fret and fume? God has renewal for you to share.
Take them as the stone that hit you—
It gave pain, but shaped a brand-new you.-
They may whisper, they may stare,
Wonder why you’re different, or care
To judge the way you walk or speak—
But let me tell you, you’re not weak.
The world may say, “Don’t try, just blend,”
But I say, be your truest friend.
For judgment comes from minds so small—
Remember: "mental" is in judgemental, after all.
Yes, those last six letters tell the tale,
Of how the world may mock or fail.
But don’t let that dim your flame—
You are more than any name.
So stumble, fall, and rise once more,
Each step you take unlocks a door.
Be bold enough to laugh, to try,
To chase your dreams, to reach the sky.
Let courage grow with every fear,
Let kindness be your loudest cheer.
Even stars need darkest skies
To truly dazzle in our eyes.
Don’t shrink to fit a stranger’s mold,
You’re crafted fine, you’re brave, you’re bold.
And when you doubt, just hear Anu Ma'am say:
“You’re meant to shine—so shine anyway.”-
