in her dreamy eyes, scent of mist

Mushy grasslands bow to her
She lifts her step with gusto,
a cocoon of joy enveloping her heart
A shower of leaves jubilates her,
metamorphosing into a butterfly
She feels blessed.
Until, reality shakes her.-

Measuring the efforts of subconsciousness

Distracted by the sound of nervous breath
Overhear the discerning inner voice
Recognize the bewildered face
Relentless pursuit of musing,
