Don't follow me,
If you expect that I'll follow you back.
It doesn't work that way
Save yourself some pride and dignity.

Don't follow me,
If you don't believe my writer's vision,
If you can't feel the beat of every emotion
Written in my stories, poems, and quotes.

But if you can connect your own thoughts
And make art come alive out of every word,
Then we wouldn't be just lost, wandering herds
But we'll soar high in the sky like a flock of birds.
