Incurable
these midnight cravings
for unfinished poems
is a fire in the belly—
a hunger shouting
for attention
between short verses
unsatiated,
consuming,
until silence
become a thought
refusing to let go.-

are forever seeded

highway
of feeds
for likes and shares
stickers and emojis
sans touches,
sans feeling,
sans warmth.

skyful of stars
with infinite wishes,
planet of thoughts
circled by emotions,
sun and moon
chasing swirling tides
in an ocean
of your name.-
