The gushing wind and the drizzle rain have the power to soothe every rising raze within me.

Exams:- I hate the last hour preparation.

The prayer, which has always soothed me to extent, gets over. We head towards our exam rooms, who test all that we studied the whole year!! Seated on our benches we open our books for the last hour preparation. During this time half of the stuff I revise goes above my brain. My brain doesn't reciprocate as it is too busy pondering how the question paper would be. I struggle with myself concentrating and then the bell rings. The invigilator says, "Be quiet and recall what all you have learnt." I try and everything gets muddled up. I stop the process and cool down.

"Thank you. Congrats to you too."

Little did she know,
I'm ashamed that I know a foreign language more than I know my own mother tongue.
I'm ashamed that when told to deliver a speech I would choose to speak in English over Odia.
I'm ashamed that when told to pick a newspaper daily I would often pick "The Indian Express" over "The Samaja".
I'm ashamed that I had to write this in English as my Odia vocabulary is not as good.




P.S.-"She" was the Odia debate winner.
