A glimpse of my father,
Also, I saw a gleam of authenticity in my amour.
Rare he is to treat me as an individual,
He touches my feet, so do I, and the bond becomes truly equal.
First thing in the morning and last one of the evening,
His name is in my prayers and on my lips, energizing the power of healing.-

मैं ग़लत नहीं अलग थी
जिसे रूहानी मोहब्बत की तलब थी
मैं दुनिया के रंगों में रंगी नहीं
ज़माने के ढंगों में ढली नहीं
मोहब्बत के पन्नों को पढ़ती रही
तानों के शोलों पर चलती रही
तलाशती रही राह-ए-मोहब्बत
मिल न सकी पल भर की सोहबत
मैं मजबूर नहीं भरपूर थी
इल्ज़ाम थे लाखों मगर मैं बेकसूर थी

मेरी इबादत के हर लफ्ज़ में उसका ज़िक्र है,
मुझे तो क्या, मेरी हर नब्ज़ को उसकी फ़िक्र है।
वो साथ है तो जैसे फ़कीर को जन्नत नसीब हुई है,
हो जाता है ओझल तो लगता है क़िस्मत बदनसीब हुई है।
दुआओं का असर है कि फ़ासले नहीं हैं दरमियान,
ख़ुदा हम पर इस क़दर है मेहरबान।।-
The love we share,
Surpasses the world's conventional philosophies.
Though the intentions are fair,
Even so, worldly eyes fabricate innumerable perspectives.-
Inch by inch, the body remembers,
Even if the whispering of his voice flows from beyond the horizon.
Being smitten with love, playing the role of protectors,
Worshipping each other's feet is as pious as our religion.-
Where the world uses words to be worldly,
He decodes the stillness of eyes.
Grasping the heartstorming slowly,
To make the level of happiness rise.
Giving it all he'd in his deepest part of the soul,
From switching on to turning off the lights.
He's the one heart is going to behold,
From young to old, until our love merges in the skies.-
Life is your dream. That dream you've always wanted to fulfil. Year by year, it goes this way or the other way. Live for your choices and for the ones you have visited the holy places to pray. Hurdles and puzzles lead you astray, composed mind amidst barricades can become your gateway.

मीलों का फ़ासला, उसके शहर का कठिन है रास्ता,
इत्मिनान से सोचा तो लगा, दिलों का मीलों से क्या वास्ता।
एक अरसा हुआ मिले, मन में न जाने कितने फूल खिले,
जब आएगा वह मिलने, पूछूँगी वजह क्या थी जो हम बिछड़े।
कुछ मजबूरियां, अनचाही परिस्थितियां, कह कर समझा लेता है मुझे,
कर लेती हूँ मैं भी यक़ीन, जिन लबों से कहता है वह मुझे।।-
भूल जाऊँ मैं उसे, सबने कहा ये मुझे,
वो वजूद है मेरा, कैसे मिटा दूँ उसे।
बन गयी लकीरें एक बार जो क़िस्मत की,
गवाह है ख़ुदा, उसे पाने को कितनी ख़िदमत की।
प्यार है तो रूह में रहेगा वह सदा,
पूछ लें चाहे लोग फिर इसकी सैंकड़ों वजह।
