Is LOVE a feeling that makes your heart race?
Or the one where eyes meet and fires erupt?
Is it in feeling unashamed when dressing,
Or in the intense desire of intimacy?

Is it in adjusting to their eccentricities
No matter how crazy they drive you..
Is it a strong desire to shield them from any bad,
Even if it involves closed ones?

Is it about cherishing the good times?
Would it mean it ain’t good any longer?
Is it about putting in the effort to make it last?
And would it last if it required effort?
Wasn’t it supposed to be easy & effortless
In the first place?

Is love about letting go and hoping for it to return
Or is it best felt in the unrequited
Where you fantasise
about the sweet could-have beens!

Is the feeling of being in love more important
than love itself?

Awaiting your arrival since long,
Days without you feel so wrong!

Oh! The anticipation of you..

Freshness of your smell,
Makes my heart swell..
Longing that has come to dwell,
Only your sweet kiss can dispel..

The swaying trees,
The gentle breeze,
Are all of me playing tease..
Can’t wait more, oh, come on please!

If you only move away from people who hurt you, there are going to be others who’d do the same to you. Move away from the version of yourself who gave them that power in the first place.

Instead of looking at parenting as “raising kids”, if we could attempt at raising ourselves, then, I believe, we are in the right direction.

To live a life fully in the present, we must let go of the baggage of the past and the worries of the future.

Thinking may not be the solution to our problems, but, often, could be the cause. Overthinking, especially, creates a spiral that drowns us.

If only we could accept that we are part of the problem, we’d realise that we are also part of the solution.
