A moonbeam in the quiet night,
Lit up the dark with silver light.
A glowworm soared in silent flight,
Adored from far, beyond my grip,
I can’t reach out, yet can’t let slip.

You shine like a distant moon,
Your smile once lit my heart with light,
But vanished like a new moon’s gloom.
In electric glare, I seek your face,
These lights leave me cold, not bright,
I’m lost, not whole in this hollow space,
Still seeking your elusive sight.
One day your glow may warm my night.

Rain wakes the flowers to bloom,
Sun feeds their fragile glow,
Earth cradles roots to rise.

Yet rain drowns the petals’ dance,
Sun scorches life to ash,
Earth buries what once thrived.

Does love, like this, turn to hate?

Strong coffee fueled sweet chat's sway.
A high deadline loomed, in a short span,
A hungry stomach met a quick banana.
Loved calls brought joy, a happy heart's delight,
Friday ended with a fried, tasty bite!

With a bad dream, I sketched the day,
Doubt shadowed each uncertain pace.
A cake was cut with sweetened words,
A guest returned, a welcome sight.

The call of my quest urged me to strive,
Through a hard day, yet joy kept alive.
Embrace the moment, come what may,
Run with hope to another day!

By Having loving people,
By eating healthy food!

To light more days!
