So close, yet so distant away.
She was shaken for a while,
The storm was bewildering her.
The agony of her toil felt in vain,
The ache of efforts echoing in quiet pain.
So close to literally watch her dreams begin to fray.
Yet in the wreckage,
She learns to unlearn,
she accepts: for sometimes
being ‘so close’ carves the fiercest scar.-
Her first celebrity crush,
Obsessed in her teens, she couldn't miss a match.
In her youth, time slipped away, she'd still sneak in for updates.
From your poster on her wall to your cutout bookmark in her Science textbook.
The journey of a fangirl shaped her youth.
Aggression, boldness, discipline;
With the grace in defeat and fierce rise in return-
She strived to embody his spirit within.
It was a bliss to witness king Kohli,
The run machine on field and beyond,
Unfurl epiphanies for eternity.

A resolve she undertook,
Helding tight to the words of whom she revered.
She let go of the craft that expressed her soul,
Her pen didn’t ink, for nearly a biennium;
Her fingers never typed, nor did her words meet the screen.
Lost and unsure, devoid of light.
The voices of unmet expectations-
Wound her core and darkened her inner skies.
In the quest of worth and light, she almost resorted to rage;
But wisdom halted her avenge.
She rose anew, with scars and grace.
No longer compelled to justify provokes unjust.
And fate rewrote her name as a poetess again!

A teen who failed to meet expectations,
Labelled a lost disgrace,
Stamped with the heavy weight of disappointment.
Unanswered, ignored and silence met her in its place.
She feared the fall and the shame,
Aggressively determined to prove,
A little for unsure dreams, she fueled her passion,
In the hope to seek their word: "She's worth it all".
She learned failure and success were fleeting tides,
Not labels to wear nor dens to hide.
She tore the labels, unbound by tags
Instead of dwelling on old flames;
she rose from the ashes.-
A fire is born and the ember rises as I feel the warmth,
The power of pursuit ignites my path.
Unbound by whispers, judgements and thoughts;
Free at last, from the fears of the past.
That chill once gripped my fragile spine,
A thousand screams blurred my mind.
Amidst the cold, a strong fire burns within my soul.
In quiet strength, its warmth defies the freezing night;
Eternal and fierce it does not wane.
Through endless cold, a flame of purpose and hope.
Beneath the stars, I stand serene,
Unaware of the mystic cold unseen.
With passions heat, through frosts and cold winds, I forge my way,
Under the cold sky, I find my flame.

Devoid of the sight:
Yet filled with enigmatic might.
Or
Plunge into the gigantic ocean,
Presumptuous with the ability to swim.
She stands there,
Contemplating over the dictators of her pronouncement:
Is it the Personage's deeds
Or
The internal monologue of her belief !?

She ignites the flames to ferociously free herself from : The fathomless fears and failures,
With faith she learns to never forfeit herself,
Facing her fate;
She embraces her fiascos with fortitude!

In the pursuit of professionalism, it's a strong sense of condemning dismay to feud against any biases towards roles of any gender, limiting to conventionality in thought and action.
