I wonder if the writer knew that there is a metaphor used,
I wonder if the lyricist knew that a line may define way of life,
I wonder if they knew the impact a dialogue can have,
I wonder if the greats know the impact they have,
I wonder if they work to express or to make an impact.

An object is securely misplaced,
Birthdays forgotten on the day,
Signs observed after the event...

They will notice the actions,
Beloved will see in your eyes,
What your heart holds inside.

तेरे संग हर इक पल खास है
कुछ अलग ही सा एहसास है
मुस्कान चेहरे पे हो या ना हो
दिल को सुकून है तू पास है
चाहे लबों पे कुछ लफ्ज़ ना हो
पर आंखों में इक इज़हार है
हाथ थाम कर जो चले दो कदम
उस लम्हे में कैद कई जज़्बात है
यूँ तो हम हर वक़्त सुस्त रहते है
पर तेरे साथ के लिए हमेशा तैयार है
तुझे कोई ना भाए तो उसपे धिक्कार है
भूल हमसे हो तो सुधारने को तैयार है
रोज़ तुमको ख़ुश देखने को बेकरार है
ये सपना ना हो यही दरकार है।।
