You and I, we laugh till we cry,
Under the stars or a sunny sky.
Secrets we share, dreams we chase,
In every moment, you’re my safe space.

From silly talks to heartfelt care,
No one else could ever compare.
In this world, so wide and true,
My favorite chapter always includes you. 💕

Soft sun rays on my sleepy face,
No alarm clocks, no morning race.
Coffee in hand, a cozy stare,
Messy bun and zero care.

Birds are singing, skies are clear,
Peaceful vibes, my soul feels near.
No rush, no rules, just calm and free
Saturday mornings are made for me. 🌼

Two peas in a pod, side by side,
Laughing through life, arms open wide.
Different dreams, one beating heart,
Never close, yet never apart.

Through sunshine, storms, and every nod
We bloom together, two peas in a pod. 🌿💫

Times have changed, but the memories in those voices still echo…
This old radio still plays the songs of the heart.

Some poems are like morning light,
Softly slipping through curtains white.
They whisper peace, they hum a tune,
Like sleepy birds or a silver moon.
Some poems are like summer rain,
Washing heartache, easing pain.
They pour from clouds we never knew,
Then bloom the soul with something new.
Some poems are like old perfume,
A memory dancing in a quiet room.
Familiar, faint, but always near,
Bringing a smile, or a sudden tear.
And some, like you, just simply stay,
Warming words in a quiet way.
Not loud or long, not meant to impress—
Just truth in a moment, nothing less.

“To the One Who Lied”

You wore love like perfume —
sweet at first, then vanished too soon.
Whispers turned to warnings,
but I was dancing in your tune.
Your smile — a clever weapon,
your touch — a practiced art,
You played the game so smoothly,
while tearing me apart.
Midnight promises, stolen calls,
a trail of lipstick lies,
I trusted every silence,
while you mastered goodbyes.
You said I was your only,
but she had heard the same.
We shared the same illusion —
just victims of your game.
But here's what you forgot, my dear:
I rise when I am torn.
You broke a heart, but built a fire
much fiercer than your scorn.
So take your charm and empty words,
your sorry, soulless play —
I’m done with boys who cheat and run,
I choose myself today.

“Third Wheel in My Own Love Story”

You laugh a little louder when they’re around,
Your eyes light up, but not for me.
In every crowded room we share,
It’s them you always seem to see.
I speak, but you don’t really hear,
Your gaze has wandered far again.
I hold your hand, you hold a smile—
But your heart’s dancing in their lane.
My name was once your sweetest sound,
Now silence tastes more true.
You ask how they have been these days,
But rarely ask how I’ve pulled through.
I watched you slip, not overnight,
But moment by unspoken moment.
Like rain that falls without a storm,
And love that dies without a comment.
I won’t compete, I won’t pretend,
To chase a gaze that’s not for me.
I’ll step aside—let you be free,
And let my heart learn how to breathe.

A Prayer for Air India Flight 171
(In remembrance and hope)

Above the clouds so high and free,
A journey bound across the sea,
But winds grew wild, and skies turned gray,
And peace of flight was swept away.
O gentle skies, hold them in grace,
Each soul aboard, each silent face.
May angels guard where engines failed,
Where dreams once soared, then sorrow sailed.
For families left in tearful wait,
We pray for strength to bear their fate.
And may the light of love not fade,
For every life, a mark it made.
O God of sky, of stars, of air,
Embrace them all in boundless care.
Grant peace to hearts both near and far —
And heal where grief has left a scar.

In memory of those aboard Flight 171.

I spoke to Life, it said, “Don’t run, just flow,
You’re chasing the stars, but missing the glow.
Breathe in the pauses, don’t race the sun,
Even wilted petals have their own fun.”
I asked, “Why pain? Why storm, not spring?”
It smiled, “Because roots grow deep when the thunder sings.
The fire you fear is the one that forges,
The soul expands through the hardest of gorges.”
I whispered, “But I feel so small.”
It laughed, “And yet, you carry it all —
The ache, the joy, the silent screams,
You are made of stardust and dreams.”
I begged, “Just give me a sign, a clue.”
It said, “You’re the sign — just be true.
No map, no script, just heart and grace,
Every detour still leads to your place.”
I turned away, but it gently stayed,
“Don't fear the dark, it too has played.
I’ve danced with shadows, kissed the rain —
And I promise, my child, it’s never in vain.”
So I stopped, stood still, and felt the air,
For the first time, Life didn’t seem unfair.
It wasn’t a battle, a puzzle, or test,
It was a whisper —
“Live, not perfect… just live your best.”
