The wings got chained
She let out a cry,
She was thirsty
Her mouth went dry,
No one heard it
She sat in the corner
Tears fell down from her eye,
She looked up at the sky,
And dreamed one day she could fly.

Every night, my son would giggle in his sleep. One morning, I asked him casually,
“Hey champ, why do you giggle at night?”

“You hear that?” he replied, surprised.

“Of course! You’re so loud, it reaches my room.”

“Oh… I told that man to keep his giggle down, but he never listens,” he said.

Just then, the backdoor clicked shut, and a soft giggle echoed through the house

Chanting the names of few
I asked the water
