बक्सा भर यादें ले कर आते हैं हम,
बक्से में संसार समेंटा हुआ होता हैं,
कभी इस दरवाज़े कभी उस गली भटकते हैं,
बक्सा उठा कर एक कमरें से दुसरा कमरा बदलते हैं,
कभी कमरा बदलता हैं तो कभी रूममेट ,
बस जिंदगी सिमट सी गई है बक्से में।

ये जिंदगी फुर्सत ही तो नहीं देती,
और जब देती हैं तब जरूरत नहीं होती।

कुछ लोग यूं ही मिलते हैं
शायद बिछड़ जाने के लिए
ना अपनाने देते हैं
ना अपना पाते हैं

इश्क में चूमा था उसने माथा मेरा
मोहब्बत में की थी लड़ाई भी
जाने कौन-सी डोर से बंधा था वो
मुस्कुरा कर हाथ छुड़ाई भी

आज जैसे सुकून की नदी में डुबो दिया हो तूने
जैसे अपने अकेलेपन कि कहानी सुना दी हो तूने
जाने दिल क्यों खुश हुआ जा रहा हैं
तेरी कहानी में किया गया अपराध बोध हुआ

It was a chilly winter night and I was waiting for him in our balcony when he came closure to me and tried to hug me for the back but I tried to release myself from his circle of arms. To this action of mine he looked total surprised unable to understand the refuse. He asked " What happened? " and when he did not get an answer he asked a bit louder this time breaking my silence to an answer " nothing " Trying to understand my situation he was about to leave the balcony when I stopped him by holding his hand and pulled him towards myself allowing him to continue the hug. I felt a relief donot know where the thoughts went. The deeper the hug was the more relieved I was. He slowly tried slipping his hands inside my top then I turned towards him was trying to feel his breath and hug him more gently and tightly suddenly realized that his grip has loosen and no breath can be felt. A curve on my face said it all.
