We were always like the moon and the stars,
Looked so close, yet so far.

Holding on to my mess,
Alone in distress,
Over long period of time,
With every possibility dying.
Possibility of my happiness,
Ended up into a huge mess,
Coz of my own thoughts,
I ended up in drought.
Endless drought of emotions,
Has led to suffocation,
Suffocation of being alone,
In this boundless storm.
Enormous storm of negativity,
Has engulfed life's serenity.
Ending every night in stress,
Losing my cheerfulness,
Holding on to my mess,
In pain of being hopeless.
Hopeless for new tomorrow,
Without mess and sorrow.

Some are there to end the story.

People around us are like shadows,
they leave once it gets dark.

Failures are the shackles,
that hold you on to the bad moments of life.
