The house was empty. It was complete darkness around him.

He shivered. He started to feel cold and wondered whether it's cause of the weather outside or was he becoming cold. 

The sky was dark black, hiding his only constant companion in its darkness. He was sad because he could not bid one last goodbye to her. 

Today was the day. The beginning of the end. This is it, he decided. No one to stop him. Finally, he was the master of his own fate.

The word insult reminds me of one of your good friends, who said that she felt insulted when I jokingly said something to her, in front of you.

And in return she gave me a punishment that I'll never forget.
She asked you to choose between her and me.

And obviously, you had to choose her.

I'm sorry that I've got nothing to say. I'm sorry that I cannot use enough adjectives to describe the roller coaster inside me right now. I'm sorry that all I have to offer right now is silence with a smile on my face. A realistic smile.
I don't know if I'll read a better book in the future or not. But this book, I'll never let myself forget it.
